About
The clients had a clear objective to revive a tiny cottage in Norman Park, and their large block allowed for the expansion of the footprint while also elevating the house to a height of 3.7 meters to accommodate a lower level with high ceilings on a timber subfloor. Leveraging the unique character of the old Queenslander, they chose modern finishes that enhanced the home’s appearance while complementing its features.
Pride Home Designs’ plan featured a spacious open-plan living area below, with bedrooms located on the top floor. With expansive decks in both the front and rear, this home exudes the charm of outdoor living that Queenslanders are known for.
